Radios Response

Radio was important because it was the first live news medium. I thought it was cool how people knew about the Hindenburg Crash right as it happened. It was also very portable and it created relationships with the audiences. I also found that how it shaped teenagers with rock and roll was interesting. It created an age of adolescents. Instead of going from a kid to an adult there was something in between. If a band was played on the radio, then they were considered successful. I found this interesting because it's still kind of true to this day. I found it interesting that radio declined very fast after the invention of TV. I, personally listen to the radio more than I watch TV.
