On October 17, 2013, one of the stories for WAVE3 was about a train derailment in October of 2012. The story focused on the train, but also wanted to send the message that they needed to be more prepared for accidents. They focused on the derailment of the train, but talked about Hurricane Sandy a little. These events happened last year. Although I find these events tragic and important I think they should’ve used more recent accidents. There have been a lot more accidents since then until now. The story was very long and didn’t deserve to have a lot of air time.
